Corporate Podcasting Strategies in a nutshell

Hi there,

It's not often I'm happy to send my entire subscriber base off to someone else's site wholesale, but in this case it's worth it.

Whatever you do, please check out this superb posting from Jeremiah Owyang- he's got it 100% spot-on, and there's perfect advice here for anyone getting started with corporate podcasting. Follow Jeremiah' advice and you're well on your way.

Then come back here for more of my ramblings, please.

I agree, Jeremiah's posting is superb.
I've added some suggestions at his blog for practical applications.

One area to consider is the convergency of audio and telephone networks for Podcasting, especially in the area of quick updates for a mobile or technical workforce.

It will only be through simple practical and adaptable podcasting applications that this new medium of comms will take off.

I'm also concerned that without effective project management and content management disciplines in place, corporate podcasting will not be effectively controlled. It will only need a one bad episode (I mean situation!) for a CEO to reject its benefit.
